At this point you're probably asking yourself why butts, am I right? The answer is simple. Why not?!

Let's go back to the beginning when it all started. For years I battled with ongoing weight, health, and relationship issues. With all of that nonsense floating around my head, I struggled to create a positive image of myself.  At 354 pounds, let's just say the word "sexy" was not how I felt or saw myself.  Nice clothes, fancy cars, high paying job would change all of that.. right? Wrong!  I eventually lost weight and hoped it would  usher in changes inside.  Being seen as attractive didn't make me feel better.  I felt worse.

I was blessed to find a partner who saw the "sexiness" within me that I was searching for.  Through him, I finally met and saw my real self.  He loves me whether larger or small, through flaws and all.  I found out that I didn't have all of the answers and I had to be ok with that.  However, by surrounding ourselves with people who see in us things we cannot, we change.   I loved this man with all of my heart, and in that moment I wanted to change for us both.

Self love and self care were now at the forefront of my mind. Paired with diet, exercise, meditation, and kindness, I recommitted to a healing journey that was deep and lasting.  There is no end to this story because the journey continues.
